Men in the City are marching to war. Escalation and acceleration will be the key themes of 2024. On the escalatory elevator there are erratic peaks and troughs, deceptive lulls and explosions, chaotic fits and starts, but the overall direction of change favors fire and fury. The world is rebalancing: prosperity is dimming into scarcity, femininization is giving way to Neo-Masculinity, legacy institutions are crumbling as news ones arise to replace them, and a new world order is taking shape. Mass movements, new leaders, revolutionary technologies, and violent conflicts are bursting onto the scorched landscape of a dysfunctional order long passed its expiration date.
Conflict and disaster will bring civilizational catharsis. The glass encased panopticon of Globalism is shattering, as are the reality distortion fields that have so bedeviled the Western psyche since the Sixties, and before. Feminism, hedonism, scientism, multi-culturalism, nihilism, wokism etc. have transformed Western institutions from Fortune 500 companies to the Catholic Church into toxic weapons of mass delusion. As a result, faith in the old system is crumbling, however slowly. As the Gerontocracy squanders the prosperity Westerners from Boston to Berlin have come to expect, as provocation with a resurgent East intensifies, as a spiking cost-of-living squeezes average households, as mass migrants overwhelm Western capitals, as violence engulfs city streets, as the fiscal cliff leers, disillusionment is flaming into rage.

While conflict appears to be a foregone conclusion we must not “commit suicide for fear of death.” Great moments come when the forces of change become sufficiently powerful to challenge the forces of inertia. Such a moment has arrived for men in the city and indeed for the world. Storms of emotion harnessed by the mass movements of Masco-Nationalism are gathering against the forces of Globalism, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance. A war of some magnitude is taking shape, that much it seems cannot be stopped. However, its severity and resolution will depend on the Neo-Masculine Movement sprouting in the West. House of War, House of Islam
Islam – submission to Allah – remains the daily driver in the livelihoods of almost 2 billion people largely concentrated in the Fertile Crescent, from the Maghreb to Istanbul, from the Arabian desert to the Armenian highlands. For most of human history these vast lands have been bloodied by violent clashes between Khalifas and Khans, Romans and Carthaginians, Arabs and Seljuk Turks. However, since the fall of the Ottoman Empire, the region has been intensely divided and fragmented along tribal, ethnic, sectarian, and religious lines, until now. The Islamic consciousness divides the world into two spheres: Dar al Harb (House of War) and Dar al Islam (House of Islam). The civilizational force of Islam has commanded armies of conquest, expansive empires, and rouses well over a billion people from Dagestan to Malaysia. While Islam’s power and reach remains a global force it is ill understood in the West, and its power understated by wealthy Saudi oil sheiks and authoritarian kleptocrats across the Arab world and beyond. However, like all civilizational forces, when the soul of Islam is attacked, threatened, or otherwise injured, especially from hostiles beyond the House of Islam, black flags of crescent moons will fly.
Asabiyyah – Islam’s Masco-Nationalism – is spreading across the region. Watching tens of thousands of Palestinian Arabs perish under horrific explosions from Israeli air assaults and US munitions, hundreds of thousands flee their dilapidated dwellings, and the rest pushed into the sea, Muslim blood is boiling hot. The Arabs – swept up in an emotional fervor – are massing outside US embassies, in Western capitals, and skirmishing with US naval ships in the Red Sea. Iranian precision strikes are sending warnings to Israel to cease and desist from its ever-expanding military campaign. Muslim leaders the world over are sternly cautioning peripheral Anglo-forces that there will be wider war unless the United States divests from its “special relationship.”
The “inflammation of national consciousness” is not easily tempered and cannot be controlled once activated. Bribery, subterfuge, extortion, or other political maneuverings are helpless in the face of Masco-Nationalism. As Azar Gat (an Israeli) put it: “liberalism and Marxism [Communism], the dominant social theories and ideologies of our times” are confounded by “the deeper roots of ethnicity and nationalism” because they cannot harness their supernatural power. As mentioned previously, the Gerontocracy dismisses what it cannot measure and so Masco-Nationalism remains invisible, a potentially fatal flaw that could ignite global war.

The conflict embroiling the world is Globalism against civilization. The Globalist disease has already crippled Western Civilization, subverting the core-values that made it strong, systematically replacing its founding ethnos, and undermining any sense of national-religious identity or consciousness that stands in its way. Globalist influences sparked a devastating war in Ukraine that cost the lives of at least a million Slavs (Russians and Ukrainians), displacing millions more. Now, they are prodding the Muslim World and anyone else who does not indulge woke fanaticism: China is an existential threat, as are North Korea, Iran, Russia, so we must attack them all, and the list is growing by the month. Where does the madness stop?

This fact has been so inescapable for decades that even President Richard Nixon, who authorized a military intervention that single handedly rescued Israel from destruction in the Yom Kippur War – admitted that America’s “special relationship” had nothing to do with America’s national interests. In a 1992 interview with Ted Koppel, Nixon said that US obligation was founded on moral grounds.
Surely, on moral grounds alone, America’s unconditional support for Israel must stop, immediately. How can a nation that declares itself “exceptional,” a beacon of hope for the world, a standard bearer for justice actively back the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Gaza? Worse, how can US policymakers actively seek a wider war with the Muslim World to protect an aggressor nation of barely 10 million people? How can the United States possibly stand against a cease fire virtually the entire world supports without jeopardizing its international credibility? The answer is it cannot.

The window for de-escalation is rapidly closing. US naval forces must significantly withdraw from the region or DC lawmakers must demand an end to Israel’s Gaza invasion by cutting off equipment, armaments, and funds. Indeed, this must happen sometime before full-fledged violence breaks out against Hezbollah in Lebanon, then embroils Iran, Egypt and beyond. The likelihood that such a 180-degree shift in US-Israeli relations occurs is close to zero. Virtually no one, not a single presidential candidate, not one political party or major figure in America is calling on Israeli de-escalation. Wider war is imminent.
The Coming Isolationism
Countless US presidents from George Washington to Warren Harding have warned about the dangers of interventionism. As the first president elected after Wilson’s War, Harding stated the following at his inaugural address: “The recorded progress of our Republic, materially and spiritually, in itself proves the wisdom of the inherited policy of noninvolvement in Old World affairs.” Harding’s words may seem fringe today, but in 1921 his sentiments channeled the emotional trauma and national disillusionment with the most destructive war in human history to that point. Never again was the American public’s reaction.

As tensions explode in the coming months the American public will once again be goaded into war. The question is what will they do? Much will depend on mass movements and new leaders. While the Normies cling to Donald Trump as their savior, Trump remains an agent of disruption not an agent of reform. He represents the last gasp of a broken political system trying to save itself; it is too late.
War will bring chaos. It will accelerate economic crisis, fiscal crisis, and unleash the underlying frictions Americans (and Westerners) have so desperately tried to ignore or placate. Indeed, US military casualties, the collapse of internal social order, and the bankruptcy of American leadership in the face of these challenges will make America’s tribulations unignorable, finally. However, such calamity will bring clarity, and the harsh decisions necessary to restore order will become possible.
Middle Americans who both fight and fund America’s military-industrial-complex will demand its demolition and refuse to fight its wars.
Top of that list will be the coming isolationism. Fiscal retrenchment will force the United States to fire sale its costly, over-extended, and pugnacious military empire. The urgency of domestic problems will supersede the meddling hands of Globalists, who will rightly be blamed for the disasters overseas and at home. In the moment of crisis, a Masco-Nationalism will erupt, and the Neo-Masculine Movement will surge.
Testudo
The scenario described above may be best case. It is possible but requires a Neo-Masculine Movement to make it probable. How can such a movement manifest, where is the rank and file to make it happen? The answer lies in the spontaneous awakening and resolute action of young men. Men in the city are increasingly disillusioned, red pilled, and ready for action. A movement emerges when the “initiatory act” of rebellion is triggered. As the legacy order careens out-of-control, as wars with unintended consequences overtake the Gerontocracy, as fiscal-drip becomes a fiscal-tsunami the moment of defiance will come.
Running for the hills is not the answer. The super-elite, the billionaires and bankers who are loyal to no country but “citizens” of many will flee (read more here). They have busily prepared their escape to remote compounds in New Zealand or other far-off places. These “sovereign individuals” believe that humanity is doomed, that without their special guidance and insidious management all will fall apart. They are mistaken.
Human history shows otherwise. Conflict, terrible and tragic, brings unity and crisis binds peoples and societies together. Such turmoil forms the basis for new myths, value-systems, and mass awakenings that redefine the national consciousness. This time will be no different. As before, young men will come together as the ancients before them, they will coalesce into Testudo to repel the hostile Globalists encircling us. The rest is up to divine providence.
